Brett has worked in the food industry for all his life. He started this journey as an apprentice chef straight out of high school which ended up landing him in the food catering division a few years down the track. This is where he found his love for the fresh produce industry, catering fresh foods for hotels, airlines, the defence force and restaurants to name a few.

He has worked in corporate fresh produce retail sectors, managed successful supply chain businesses and has developed produce categories for corporate companies. Brett is one of the founders and the General Manager of FT Farming Group and overlooks all operations on a day-to-day basis.

In John’s childhood and teenage period, he was heavily involved in a family run fruit business. He worked with wine grapes, dried fruit and table grapes which were the product lines that forged John’s love for the produce industry. From that point, he started to move into the marketing side of fresh produce which had him specialize in mangoes, citrus and grapes.

John’s marketing background started with sole trading in export sectors which led him into the corporate export world later down the track. John is one of the founders of FT Farming Group and is the General Manager of the export division.

Lindsay is FT Farming Group’s National Sales Manager who’s main focus is the development of export programs. Lindsay has been in the produce industry for over 15 years, and has played a key role in the development of exports on many commodities.

Making his start in the fresh produce industry with his family’s export and retail business, Lindsay has worked in many sectors of the industry including export, farming, logistics, and retail.

Jake has worked in the produce industry since 2012. Based in North Queensland, he worked for a local fresh produce providore and farming company whilst completing his bachelor’s degree in business marketing.

Jake then moved to Brisbane, starting a role as an account manager for a large produce FMCG company. He also spent time working for a large Australian farming company before joining FT Farming Group, where he now manages the businesses domestic customers.

Luke grew up in Far North Queensland where he spent his holidays during high school and university on farms throughout Atherton and Mareeba picking limes, Lemons & Avocados. He has completed a Bachelor of Business Management & HR at James Cook University in Cairns where he learnt the basics of business.

Straight out of University, Luke started as a Graduate with a large fresh produce Farming and Marketing company which exposed him to sectors of the business like Farming, HR, Grower Relations, Quality, Commercial Sales & Market Sales which led him to transfer to Brisbane. He now works at FT Farming Group where he looks after the Quality Assurance department and assists in the Operational side of the business.
